Jessica Pratt, originally from Melbourne, Australia, has just returned from 6 years living and working in Dubai, in the UAE. She has a degree in teaching and is a writer, comedian, improviser and performer. 

​

Jess is the head writer for two web series: ‘Almost Viral’ and ‘Breaking News- A Recap’. She has performed stand up and improv at venues in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, LA, Melbourne and New York. She’s hosted weekly comedy nights for The Courtyard Playhouse and performed four nights a week with Dubai’s improv troupe, The Courtyard Players. She is currently teaching and performing with Impro Melbourne.

Jess has opened for local and international comedy acts, was part of the Dubai International Comedy Festival and has won two UAE Comedy Awards. Her recent show 'You Throw Like a Girl’ celebrated a sell out season at the 2019 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
